Teaching English in Here

Well.

The english teachers here in Brazil are expected to be so exited and happy and talk a lot.
I've been teaching english to kids and they really love when you play games with them and bring they songs in English... in my opinion it's a very nice way to teach kid. With adults it's a little bit different. They expect to learn English as fast as they can.

It is important to learn a different language, not only in Brazil, but all around the world, so that you can make you horizons bigger and know much more than you could.
It is like if you are able to reach what want through learning more and more.

I really like teaching english in here.

  1. Hello Amanda

I am really like your post because it reminds me when I start learning English. Actually, I wasn't born in USA. I am from Cambodia. I remember when my parent prodded me into the English school for the first time. I was afraid because it would be the first time ever I learned foreign language. However, I started to like my class when my teacher she had brought song and I sang together with my classmates.

I strongly agree with you when you said all around the world should learn a different language. I think your idea have relevant to what I have learned in my class, World History. Because English is became the international language, so people can learn English and make communication to others. English has opened the door for people to contact to each other around the world for example you and I. Furthermore, English speakers will be able to travel everywhere around world. Compare to past, people wouldn't travel more than 50 miles away for their home town because communication was the big barrier. In addition, learning English the key to reach further education because more and more ideas and studies are written in English.
In my conclusion, I want to say I love learning English and I am so happy that I can respone to you in English even though I can't speak Brazilian.

    Hope talk to you later.

    From KIM:)

  3. Hello!
Yes as you said it is important to know a little of a different language other than your own. In America most of the schools require you to take a language for a class. It varies from school to school, but here from what I know you're able to take Spanish, French, or Japanese. As it may be hard to for you guys to learn English, it's also hard to learn Spanish, French, or Japanese. I speak two languages & although I'm not Caucasion, I can understand & speak English more than my original language. I took a year of Spanish in Middle school & two years of Spanish in High school. It's still hard to learn things & I honestly don't remember a lot! But it's nice that you guys are learning the language mainly spoken here :)
